About Me

I married my high school sweetheart and we have two amazing children.

I am a stay-at-home Mom, with kids in school all day. My responsibilities may have shifted, but I'm no less busy.

I am a photographer, video editor, singer, and passionate supporter of childhood sexual abuse prevention.

I have worked as a Virtual Assistant for a Christian author I admire and respect highly. And I am currently Creative Director/Virtual Assistant for Rise and Shine Movement, an organization to help adults protect children from sexual abuse.

And I am a writer! There, I said it.

I take the constant onslaught of chatter in my head and find a place for it on a page.

God nudges and heart whispers guide my themes. I write honest and bare.

We are all the same, but incredibly, uniquely different. I want you to know that you aren't alone.

I want to vulnerably share and connect with you as part of a community of wounded, broken people. From this common place, full of pit dwellers and mountain climbers, I write.

I spent many years feeling disheartened, without hope — when my young marriage was falling apart, memories haunted me, and I was not living my life for Christ. But all the while my struggles were refining and strengthening me and God was drawing me closer to Him.

When I was hopeless and at the end of myself, He found me.
