31 Days of Healing in Him 2014

Hi, I'm Christy and I will be joining a community of bloggers for a 31 day writing series, hosted by the Nester. Last year (2013), I wrote a series on Intentional Living (you can read it here).

“We don’t want to be uncomfortable. We want a quick and dirty “how-to” list for happiness. I don’t fit that bill. Never have. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to skip over the hard stuff, but it just doesn’t work. We don’t change, we don’t grow, and we don’t move forward without the work. If we really want to live a joyful, connected, and meaningful life, we must talk about things that get in the way.”
Brené Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are

For the month of October, I will be writing every day on a topic of my own choosing, 31 days of Healing in Him (under the Nester category: Inspirational & Faith).

I don't pretend to have healing figured out. But what I have learned, through my own journey of healing, I will share with you here. My hope is that what you read here will encourage you to begin or continue the brave work of healing in him.

This is my story. But it also may be yours. Thank you for walking with me.

Each day in October I will add the newest post. So begin with Day 1 or browse through the other posts as they come. Thanks for reading!

  2. Dear Mary -- I am so glad you are finding this series helpful. To be honest with you, I did not complete the 30 days. It was a very emotional and challenging topic and I decided to take the pressure off myself, allowing what I did write to be enough. It's been a couple of years now. Perhaps it's time for me to revisit it and perhaps complete? We'll see. Thank you for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment.
