Seek Inspiration: 31 Days of Intentional Living

You don't have to look far to find inspiration. It's all around us — in nature, in people, in music, in art.

Inspiration can be a catalyst for creativity. It can also encourage us and give us hope.

Like last weekend, I watched Elizabeth Smart recount her nine month kidnapping ordeal on a news program. Unfathomable, painful, yet inspiring how a 14 year-old girl could endure, survive all that she did and ten years later, talk openly about it. Her story reinforces my passion for protecting children and her courage inspires me.

What inspires you?

  1. Hi Christy! How wonderful to find your blog today :)

Watching that interview must have been a powerful experience. Sometimes really awful things have an 'unreal' quality about them. So it's good to face them and realize these people are real, have feelings, have been abused.

I think people like you inspire me, because blogging is not an easy thing. And you do reveal things about yourself and faith, that you do not have the opportunity to do in 'real life' very much. It's the same for me. Not easy, but very rewarding.

So nice to have met you!
